I quick portrait that I decided to turn into a character study of one of my all time favourite movies. Perhaps later I will insert a more detailed background like a gothic church or grave yard.
I work as a DTP artist for a major media company in South Africa. I usually spend my days creating adverts for newspapers and on the odd occassion will do an illustration or 2. I studied art at high school and its a passion thats stayed with me through out the years in one form or another. Ultimately I would like to work some day as a full time illustrator whether for a company or on a freelance basis.
